Research Highlights: An analysis of more than 1.3 million Asian American adults, ages 18-44, hospitalized for atrial fibrillation, found an increase in the prevalence of five modifiable risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD), including obesity, Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, smoking and high cholesterol levels.
